So today is the…

So today is the first day I’ve showered since my “incident” and I realized I have yet to tell you all about it – which is strange because I pretty much tell you when I do EVERYTHING So I fell down the stairs on Thursday Night and went to the ER on Friday Morning which made me have to skip work and put me on crutches and in this thigh high leg brace to “immobilize” my leg. Tomorrow is Monday and I’m again supposed to work but after grocery shopping and making dinner – my leg is KILLING me so I’ll be taking another day to rest which is a polite way of saying I’ll be laying on the couch watching movies until I pass out! More on the showering thing, I was terrified to stand without the brace because even in the brace sometimes my leg “buckles” but I managed – neither Brent nor I could stand the sight of me anylonger I was getting a little grizzly! But the plus side of it is that I don’t notice as much when I’m hopped up on pain killers, this will all change in a day or two when I need to start showering on a regular basis and have to stop taking pain killers ever 4 hours to be numb. Work calls. But graciously they are allowing me to be a baby and sit out a few days thanks to this wonderful invention called SICK TIME!! :]

Hypocondria, Is That You?

So today, I wake up with like 5 minutes to spare as always and discover that I am sick, so I go to work and end up feeling worse and worse on the drive over, to the point that I’m like 5 minutes late to work. Walk in and they tell me how “ill” I look and tell me they’ll find someone to work my shift because they don’t want to get sick, finally at 12 someone comes in so I can go, I get home lay on the couch and feel worse and worse, I end up getting sick again then my cat starts to lick his fur off his behind again, so I try calling the vet, no answer of course. So I pack him in the car and make the journey up the mountain turns out he’s allergic to something so they gave him an allergy pill and told me to give him a flea treatment, just in case. Now I have to wash Baby, brush him and shave off the fur clumps in case he has fleas that might be biting Hatteras, Baby is long haired.. and very difficult to wash/groom. After all of that I come home and I’m feeling fineish. Plans with Katie for her final days in State College, as she begins her live on the grind in the great NEPA.

Hahahahah!
