Today I had a rather hysterical encounter with a garter snake. I’m usually only this terrified when I come across a scary bug or spider – or a snake I know is poisonous. This creature however was on my mom’s porch and took me completely off guard! I was casually walking to the door just chillin’ being a little angry about my day and how I just drove through a mountain with like 0 service for work and BAM this fucking snake wiggles and scares the shit out of me making me belt out the most horror movieesque scream I’ve heard come out of me since high school! My mom comes RUNNING out asking what is wrong – when I’m like don’t come out there is a beast out here pointing to this small ass snake, she leaves gets my gram and sister who are laughing at how pathetic I am. Thought you could share in my idiocy! PS. I once had a pet garter snake, and as a kid would catch wild ones! Not sure what came over me today!
