I’m a Leo, it’s no secret – I dedicate a WHOLE month to myself and basically scream “THIS GIRL IS A LEO.” So to my dismay this morning my sister was reading our Horoscope from an app… This is how it read:

“Today, You will have a high energy day with a lot of positive energy today. You could be invited to attend a health-care expo, a seminar, or an entertainment event that features some kind of learning or educational component. If you are a parent take your kids along!”

Being a Leo I know that today is not that day, I feel our horoscope should have read: Today is blustery and cold you will be angry and bored all day – Tomorrow will be better try again then.

Keep in mind that I live in PA, where it can be 50 and sweatshirt weather one day and 10 the next so for me this is an accurate horoscope, if you’re from somewhere warm I’d go with the first!

I was a child of the 90′s therefore I watched the Disney Channel and loved me some Even Stevens, I’m glad to see Shia Labeouf growing up with me. I wouldn’t want to see him do what our resident Hannah Montana did and go from sweet to sexy within the blink of an eye, but rather he matured from his shy boyishness into a man. There is definitely a future for him in the TV/Movie Biz!

I decided to walk up to the recycling place to cash in some cans one blistery snowy day in January. I didn’t even know he was taking pictures of me, and it looks like I’m looking RIGHT at the camera. I’m just thankful they didn’t make me walk back down after I almost froze to death on my trek up the hill. Someday’s I get brilliant ideas, and they turn out to be STUPID!

Today is my second day apprenticing in a nail salon. So far I really enjoy it.

I fell MADLY in love with The Used as a angst ridden teen living in a rural community, I was the epitome of cliche. I wore dark clothes dyed my hair dark and was all sullen just because I could be, this does not mean I wasn’t happy – I would say that even when I was “depressed” those days definitely outweigh what life is as an adult. I thought I “outgrew” listening to Alternative music, but as it turns out I would still prefer this to listening to Justin Timberlake, Mac Miller, Jay-Z or Beyonce. And If you knew me you’d be completely surprised by that because in my “Adult” years I’ve expanded to a pretty significant love for rap and pop music, but I don’t think any of that can compare to how this music makes me feel, all warm and alive on the inside. Music that speaks to the person’s soul rather than their heart. This might just be the caffeine buzz still holding strong, but I think I’m going to continue to reintroduce my happy music back into my life!

I just spent the last few weeks of my life relentlessly watching EVERY episode of the TV show Leverage. The series finale left me wanting more, over the course of 5 seasons I watched every character evolve – and with Nate and Sophie gone Parker, Eliot and Hardison are left with Leverage Inc. I want to know what happens next! Do Parker and Hardison stay together? And obviously I want to know what happens with Eliot. Seriously there needs to be a spin-off or a movie or something!

The beach is the only true place I can be 100% relaxed, it’s something about the salt in the air and the smell of fresh sea water that just puts me in a state of relaxation. Someday I’ll live on a beach – and even in the winter I’ll visit the water sniff the crispness and enjoy the beauty that no man could ever create. Staring into the vast ocean is a great way to clear you head, and heart!
